One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in (and I've stayed in a lot). It is incredibly beautiful, and the service is second to none. Quiet hotel, one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in, the food was delicious - I really can't fault it. Worth every penny. The whole island is owned by the hotel, they have wild otters and seals - the spa was beautiful too. Highly recommend, I will be staying here again

This was a fabulous hotel. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this private island escape. If you get a chance, upgrade to a spa room, they are amazing! A gorgeous property with beautiful grounds. Expensive and the bed was an old-fashioned uncomfortable spring mattress. Food was average and service for dinner was extremely slow. Walking the grounds was wonderful, and our breakfast haggis and sandwich for lunch were quite good.

Stunning castle with spectacular grounds at your disposal. The meals were amazing and the staff incredibly helpful. We had a small villa just a few steps from the castle with all of the amenities imaginable. Only regret is we should have stayed longer!!!!
