My husband and I have been staying here for a long time. When booking, I sent a request asking for adjoining rooms, which went unanswered, so I sent another message, which was also unanswered. I called to make sure it was received, and was finally told the types of rooms selected weren't adjoining. Would have appreciated if someone would have replied to my original message so I could have changed my room types before it was too late to do so. When I checked in, asked to upgrade for a fee like the lady before told me to, but the man helping me didn't explain himself, just said it wasn't possible. My card was mistakenly charged for an extra room deposit, so when I spoke to someone else about it, she was much better at explaining the upgrade options available to me. Hot tub was also closed by ahs, we learned it appears to have been closed for some time. Pool room was cold, pool was a bit chilly and the steam room didn't appear to work, or wasn't on. Pool area is definitely run down. Upside: rooms are comfortable as usual, continental breakfast is good and they are able to provide gluten free bread when requested. I do enjoy staying here and will return, but this trip had some disappointments.
