I don't like to be negative so I will try to find some positives, but based on our experiences touring Vietnam, this is one hotel to definitely miss! The first room we were offered was dirty, with dust on the skirting boards and BLOOD STAINS on the robes in the wardrobe. We asked to be moved because, in addition to the uncleanliness, the aircon unit sounded rattled and gurgled terribly. Our second room was marginally better but a broken fitting on the toilet meant the bathroom flooded with (clean fortunately) water. In this room, peeling wallpaper was actually fastened to the wall with scotch tape!
Yes the grounds are attractive, but you can walk the grounds for free without staying in the hotel, and yes the breakfast was fine, and yes the Vietnamese staff were, typically, friendly and helpful, and yet the complex opened directly onto the beach, but this Russian owned hotel is tired and poorly maintained and, at the far end of the resort, is not even well located. If you think about staying here, think again - there is far better accommodation available at much lower prices.
