We stayed at Staybridge Suites last weekend while we got some work done on our home and were very disappointed. For starters, once we turned on the ice machine, the room smelled like rotten eggs. The front desk was super helpful and sent house keeping to spray some air freshener. The next issue was the pull out sofa. It was literally falling apart. The mattress was flimsy and very uncomfortable. Thankfully we had 2 beds, however, even that was an issue. There was hair on the pillows and we hadn't even brought our luggage down from our vehicles. On top of this, there was a huge wetspot by the return vent, we didn't know that until we put our wet shoes on in the morning to go to breakfast.
Lastly, the pool was very dirty, and you can imagine my surprise when I went to use the ladies room outside and it was filled with tables and chairs. I was very surprised by all of this. We have never had an issue at any of the chains before.
The only positive experience about the entire weekend was how kind and helpful the front desk was. The ladies were so sweet and understanding and tried hard to make our stay better.
