Great base in the middle of everything!
OK, so the rooms are small. Really small. You can tell that from the photos. But they are full of character, with French windows onto Juliet balcony, nicely updated, spotless, bed is super comfortable, and everthing works - plumbing, heat, wifi. Staff is super helpful, breakfst is great with lots of variety. Location can't be beat, and if you want to be in a historic building in the middle of everything, small rooms is the price you pay.

Great location, very close to Rossio station. The rooms are small, but work. There is an automatic air freshner in the bathroom that we could not turn off. We are sensitive to smells and this was very annoying. The wall for the shower was not sealed and water ran out from underneath, flooding the bathroom. Front desk service was great. Decent closet space.

Very reassuring that they were so receptive. Had breakfast in restaurant every morning and dinner for our last nite. We had the welcome drinks and discount on bill. The Hotel Lis-Baixa was wonderful. The reception staff was personal and welcoming. We checked in and immediately ate in their restaurant with an exceptional meal and complimentary glass of port/wine. The location was ideal. The beds and baths were great. Our only disappointment was the size of the rooms. Almost too small for 2 people to comfortably move around and the only place to hang clothes was a small hook on the wall.
