The room is in serious need of rehabilitation. The toilet ran incessantly. The toilet bowl is cracked/broken on the exterior and poor patched with ceramic repair material that was not the right color. The baseboard tiles in the bathroom were mismatched in color with the room. There were several damaged spots on the walls, especially around the tub.
The room was poorly maintained in terms of cleanliness, especially along the baseboards and the bed pedestal. The bedspread was stained in several places. The chairs did not match the decor of the room.
There was one ceiling fan that could only be turned on at the wall switch. It was set to high. The pull chain that would have allowed changes in speed was too short to reach from the floor.
The ice machine was not working. The only way to get ice was to go to the office and have the worker get ice from a refrigerator in a back room.
Over all, the property is poorly maintained and is need of a lot of exterior repair.
While the room was priced toward the lower end of hotels in the area, the ratings available on the web site were badly misleading. Overall, I would think it was overpriced by at least $20/night, more comparable to lower rated facilities in the local area. It was not nearly comparable to other Executive Inn and Suites where I have stayed on previous travels.
I would not stay in this hotel again. As a result of this visit, I will be more attentive to the ratings of this company's properties in the future.
