I know it's owing more to Indonesia's attitude towards smoking than the hotel itself, but this hotel is *extremely* smoky. People smoking throughout the lobby at all hours, and we got a smoking room because the non-smoking were all sold out, so we encountered people smoking in their rooms with their doors open, so the hallways to our room were also full of smoke. In fairness, our smoking room did NOT smell like smoke, so it wasn't horrible, but it will definitely require tolerance to stay here. Other than that, the room was pretty nice overall; it was a bit dirty (like, long black hairs in the bathroom that remained after maid visits; neither of us has long black hair), but not gross. And the windows were warped, so insulation of street noise was minimal; the nearby Sunday morning Jazzercise (or whatever) session was a rude awakening at 5AM.
