The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and there were complimentary bottled waters, which we appreciated after a lot of walking that day. Loved the ambience and the breakfast was good! They served scrambled eggs and sausages. Other hotels just had boiled eggs and cold cuts. This hotel is close to the Chapel Bridge, Jesuit Church, other tourist areas and lots of restaurants!

Hotel was within 10 minutes distance from train station and we could walk to all the attractions in Lucerne by foot although you can board buses in zone 10 for free when the hotel registers you. Excellent breakfast. My only complaint is the TV was mounted high up touching ceiling so you could only watch it lying down unless you want a sore neck.

The hotel was an inexpensive option, however the bathroom was very old and the shower was in a slanted tub making it hard to use. The photos on-line showed other bathrooms which looked updated and much nicer, so we might have just had one of the worst ones. The breakfast was good and the location was convenient to the main attractions in the city. We walked from the train station.

We had a nice room with a nice view of the château on the hill. The bathroom was on the older side but worked out just fine. The staff was friendly and breakfast was good although crowded at 7am. It was pouring rain when we arrived so it was nice that they offered umbrellas. The bus stop was right around the corner and only a short ride to the train station.

Great location but very, very simple and the main photo that caused us to book the hotel could not be found. There’s supposedly was Peruvian cuisine, but they were not open. Do not miss the covered Woodbridge down on the lake. That was definitely the highlight of the whole town. Food was amazing at the Rathouse.
