We stayed for 11 nights at the guest house and we can say that overall it was very neat, tidy and clean, as was our twin room. It was not exactly as the photos depicted, but at least it was comfortable and clean. Our room was small but pleasant, with windows on two opposite walls so it wasn't too dark. The curtains and bed covers could have done with a little upgrade, and most of the furniture was a little outdated which made it all a little bit farm-like in character. The linen was white and very clean, and the duvets were warm although quite heavy. The bathroom was very clean, with a soap and shampoo dispenser in the shower and liquid soap and body lotion by the basin. Clean white towels and toilet rolls were offered to us everyday. Irene was the perfect hostess, always being available to help and offer assistance. She was also a good cook, preparing a lovely breakfast for us everyday. The guest house was only purchased by the current owner about a year ago, so I'm sure they will gradually put their own stamp on it as time progresses.
