Outdated but comfortable
The unit is in need of renovations as it was terribly outdated. The doors were hard to open and lock and it felt unsafe with all the 70's glass panelling. The couches and beds were comfortable. The best thing was that we could use the huge washing machines and line dry our clothes.

Handy to beach
Stayed 2 nights at the Kalbarri Reef Villas. It suited our purpose as a base to see Kalbarri from. Reasonably clean and comfortable good size unit catering for two adults and two teens Only complaint is no accessible power point for husband to use his c pap whilst sleeping in the main bedroom.

Overall lovely stay.
Very spacious with comfy beds. Loved the two rooms with one having twin beds so my girls didn't have to sleep together. Nice kitchen to cook in. No info on hot water which only works for two people without having to warm back up. Learned the "cold" way.

Good value
The reception staff was lovely and very helpful. This type of accommodation is good value for families as you could easily stay with a family of four or more. Although if you are with small children you need a gate for the top of steep stairs. The bathroom is downstairs while the sleeping area is upstairs. There's a fully equipped kitchen for those looking for self servicing accommodation. One thing to note is that you must bring your own shampoo, soap and other toiletries. This was a bit of a surprise. We do a great deal of travelling and find that even the smallest, most remote places supply you with basic toiletries even if just basic quality, even in self contained, self servicing apartments.
