The big bear lodge is a pretty great place to stay owners are super nice everything was clean each room has its own setup with different styles breakfast was great, the only thing is if you want snacks or drinks they do not have vending machines or ice machine so bring a cooler with you and snack other than that a super great place to stay !!!!

This is a very comfortable, simple inn. The owners are attentive and the breakfasts are very good--great value for the area. We also enjoyed the English couple operating the place--very engaging and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again if we find ourselves in the area.

Weekend stay to ski with our sons. On the shuttle route to Mount Snow (5 minutes away). Very family friendly place and quiet on a busy weekend. Breakfast included which is a plus. Wish the rooms had coffee maker, but otherwise really convenient and excellent family run lodge.
