The stay was decent overall, with a mix of pros and cons. The location is definitely a strong point, conveniently situated near major highways, it made traveling to nearby spots like Gloucester, the Rockport shops, and even Salem really easy. There are also several grocery stores in the area, which was a plus.
The room itself was neat and comfortable when we arrived, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The grab-and-go continental breakfast was surprisingly filling and a nice way to start the day.
That said, the property could use some updates. While the room was tidy, the general cleanliness of the place wasn’t quite up to par. The pool in particular was not very well maintained, which was a disappointment. We were also a bit let down to find out the hot tub that was advertised in pictures had actually been removed back in 2020, which wasn’t made clear ahead of time.
If you're looking for a simple, budget-friendly place with a good location and friendly staff, this could work, just know what to expect going in.
