I will start off by saying that, overall, our stay was very good. At my first impression, the property appeared smaller and shabbier than what is portrayed in the picture. However, it is a seaside inn, so weathering is to be expected. The pool is very small, but heated. (We did not use due to the temperature being a bit too cool.) The proximity to the Sunset Cliffs, Newport Beach, and various other attractions are a definitely plus. We had a 1 bedroom which had a full kitchen and living room. The room was clean and a nice space for a couples getaway. The bed was a little uncomfortable, but the linens and bedspread were very nice. The bathroom is small with the door almost hitting the toilet and no real space to put toiletries, however, the dual head shower was nice. My only complaint is that the staff should be more aware of which rooms they are putting groups with young children. We had a family above us that for hours sounded like they were performing a circus act! The children of the same family screamed the entire time they were in the pool which is literally two steps from the door of every room. Also, for those staying soon, they are doing what appears to be strengthening the seawall that lines the hotel, so there will be construction vehicles in any photo you take from the Inn. The workers did not start until around 8, which was fine for us, but just beware if you like to sleep in!!
