Mobile check in was easy enough and the room was clean. New towels and amenities provided daily. Locations wise it was situated in a quieter area which was nice. It’s in close proximity to multiple train stations - never had to walk far. Also had restaurants and a 7-Eleven close by. Room was tiny but standard for Japan.

Hotel was nice and clean. Mattresses were comfortable but pillows were not. Maybe its a just a cultural difference but pillows were flat and hard. We made and still had a great time. Staff was very friendly. We would come back.

Small but Comfy
Only stayed 1 night, but the hotel room had all essentials needed despite the size. It is located next to 2 train stations, which is a huge positive if you know your way around the transit system. Would stay again on another trip!

Great location! The hotel is next to a train station so the commute with trains is very convenient. I assumed the hotel room given is based on the number of people because mine is perfect for one person. It’s clean. I stayed for 3 nights and they still provide towels, yukata and other essentials in a bag by your door even if you don’t request cleaning. I like this service.

APA hotel is great but the room service isn’t the best after many experiences (at least 10 times) with APA. Location is best if you are travelling to Haneda often with free subways/JR right beside. Well, my 2nd stay round of this stay has kinda musty smell.

Poor condition
This is my 3rd stay here. Each time the condition is deteriorating. My room was dusty and not properly cleaned. The bedding felt itchy. The maid comes once every 3 days, but they leave a bag of fresh towels on your door every day - not great for the environment. The hotel location is perfect for my work and travels, but the Mikado up the road is far better quality.

Perfect Stay for a Solo Traveller
As a solo traveller, I had a great experience staying at APA Hotel. From the moment I walked in, I knew I’d like it. Check-in was fully digital, quick and efficient, which made things really smooth. The room was compact but perfect for one person, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. My favourite part was the indoor onsen—a relaxing highlight of my evenings. It did take a little getting used to the culture of not wearing a costume, but once I adjusted, it became something I really looked forward to each night. I loved that the TV had a live monitor showing how many people were in the onsen, so I could time my visits for a quieter experience. Other great touches included the coin-operated laundry, which was super handy for catching up on washing mid-trip, and the in-room stretch massage, which was such a treat after a long day of exploring. Overall, a great stay with thoughtful amenities that made solo travel feel easy and relaxing.

Good on-site facilities as with any other APA. No complaints about the hotel itself. The area has Yamanote line access but not much else. Good if you want a quiet area to return to for the night.
