Schönes Hotel mit tollem Garten, nicht so sauber
Wir waren mit unseren 2 Kindern für 4 Nächte dort. Die Häuser, der Garten und auch der Pool sind toll. Es gibt ganz viele wilde Tiere auf dem Grundstück. Aber was Sauberkeit betrifft darf man nicht so empflindlich sein. Das Essen war ok, aber nichts Besonderes. Der Betreiber ist nett und gibt gerne Auskunft. Man braucht unbedingt ein Auto. Nach Samara fährt man ca. 15 Minuten. Es hat wirklich tolle Strände in der Umgebung. Wer es einfach, ruhig und naturverbunden mag, ist dort richtig.

Worst Customer Service Ever!
This was the worst customer service experience I've ever had. After booking over a month ago, we showed up to be told we had been double booked by hotels.com and there was no availability. We had driven over two hours from Liberia with our four young kids. The owner kept saying it was not his fault and he had no way to e-mail or call. He then said our best bet was to get in the car and drive out of town to see anything else was available. It was Easter Weekend and the busiest Saturday of the year. We went next door to The Flying Crocodile. They didn't have rooms but she called around and found us a place at Las Ranas. It was a hundred dollars more. We went back to the Paraiso de Cocodrilo and the guy would not even give us a dime to compensate. No free dinner, no kind word for our disappointed kids! Nothing!!! I find it interesting that if the situation were reversed, I would have to pay the whole amount for not showing up! Our customer service experience with the Flying Crocodile was 100% better and we hadn't even booked a room with them. If you want to stay in this spot, stay there at the Flying Crocodile.

BEAUTIFUL TROPICAL SETTING.
After finding the property which is somewhat difficult traveling gravel roads, I was impressed with how beautiful the setting was and the manicured lawns, tropical trees palms, etc. and the well keep large pool. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. This was probably my most favorite place I have stayed in Costa Rica and I haves tayed in numerous places over the past 5 years. I would go back again and again. The beach is within walking distance if you like to walk in hot weather, but we drove the mile to the beach. It is also a lovely setting and not many people there. The prices are ok considering that the rooms are a bit funky and somewhat dated. All in all it was a great experience! The property next to this one has almost the same name, so do not be confused. Go to the end of the road as this is where you find PARAISO del COCODILE!

Komfortable Zimmer in schöner Anlage
Großzügige Bungalows in einer sehr schönen und gepflegten Anlage mit Pool, etwas Abseits vom trubeligen Samara mitten in der Natur. Großer und weitestgehend menschenleerer Strand sowie kleiner Minimarkt fußläufig erreichbar. Sehr gutes Abendessen in schönem Ambiente, das Frühstück war leider etwas überteuert. Türschloß ließ sich nicht verriegeln. Insgesamt aber absolut empfehlenswerte Unterkunft !

Pour les amants de la nature, faune tres presente, belle plage deserte a quelques minutes a pieds, 4x4 requis pour se rendre a l hotel. On y mange tres bien....prevoyez payer en argent.

nicht herausragend aber in Ordnung
Die ganze Anlage ist schon sehr zum "chillen" geeignet: überall Hängematten, ein Pool ( in dem zwar Blätter schwimmen aber in der Zeit unseres Aufenthalts ( 3 Nächte) nur wenig oder gar keine Gäste, aber die Liegen drunherum sahen sehr einladend aus... Unser Zimmer war in Ordnung. Es war nicht "geschleckt" aber trotzdem ordentlich. Die Badetücher bwz. Handtücher waren schon ziemlich alt und ausgefranst aber frisch gewaschen.Was uns ein bischen gestört hat war, dass es im Zimmer und im Bad / Dusche eine nur sehr sparsame Beleuchtung gab. Nichts gegen eine gemütliche Atmosphäre, aber ein wenig mehr Licht wäre nicht schlecht! Da unser Zimmer direkt über der Küche lag, hatten wir allerdings dauernd ein ziemlich starken Essensgeruch im Raum und auch das laute Klappern und Poltern. Aber na ja, es roch zumindest gut :) Unser Frühstück (ein typisch costa-ricanisches) war von der Portion her, sehr groß und lecker! Zur Stadt Samara sind es nur etwa 15- 20 Minuten.

Problemas de carretera
El estado de la carretera no es apta para automóviles... esto dificulta de trasladarse a otras playas .. en nuestro caso necesitábamos trasladarnos a playa carrillo esto nos tomó 1 hora.... para un evento ..... y la hora de llegada en las noches es 8.30 pm... 😐

Linda escapada en pareja.
Muy bonito lugar, alejado del centro principal de sámara. Tuvimos problemas con el A/C pero cambiaron la habitacion sin problema. Buena comida y personal muy amable.

Excellent hôtel pour la tranquillité
L'hôtel est à moins de dix minutes à pied de la Playa Buena Vista et 15 minutes en voiture de Samara. La marche vers la plage est magnifique, possibilité d'observer des singes, divers oiseaux et une grande diversité de fleurs et d'arbres. Les appartements sont très spacieux, propres et bien isolés. Les commodités de l'appartement (four au gaz, moyen frigo, table à manger et accessoires de cuisine) permettent de s'installer pour quelques jours et être autonome jusqu'à la fin du séjour. Le lit est très confortable, il y a un ventilateur au plafond et l'air climatisée s'il fait trop. Ce qui fait le charme de l'hôtel est la petite ferme avec moutons, poules et canards qui se promènent autours du site. La piscine est suffisamment grande pour tout le monde et le restaurant offre plusieurs choix pour plaire aux voyageurs. Certains plats sont même biologiques. Le personnel de l'hôtel était très accueillant et aimable. Nous avons adoré notre séjour, la plage est magnifique et cet endroit est parfait pour se reposer et vivre un bon moment de tranquillité.
