This is a gem of a hotel situated high up with an incredible view of the lagoon. The staff, particularly Judy and Lisette were amazing and went beyond to make our stay comfortable. Clean rooms that feel like tree house cabins with complete privacy.

This hotel was really great. We had 2 rooms, one for the kids and one for us. Both were clean, and lovely. The include nica breakfast was delicious and the restaurant for dinner was very good. I highly recommend hiking down to the lagoon and spending some time at the laguna beach club. It was so fun!!

I have lived in this area for years and this is my first time at Pacaya. Normally I go down to the other hotels on the Laguna but this time did not want to deal with the stairs going and up and down with my mother. Pacaya is a much easier access and comfortable place. And still has the most magical views and pool.

Attention to finer details was missing which would have made a big difference ... we stayed for 2 nights ... second night we were the only 2 guests and instead of being spoilt by extra attention, at one point I had to search in order to find one of two staff members working that night. Disappointing after an 8 hour travel from San Carlos to get there in the first place.
