Cute and cosy hotel near shoppingstreet
Nice hotel in the midle of Istanbul citycenter and shoppingstreet Istiklal. The rooms were small but cute. AC works well. Walkingdistance to the bazaars and mosques. Ok breakfast. Quite a bit of noise from other rooms and corridor. Friendly staff.

The crew who works at the hotel is really nice and helpful. They do everything to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. The only issue we had was the air conditioner was not working. We got an upgrade a few days later in one of their best rooms.

Mid October 2024 CONS: This is a beautiful Art Deco building in need of a deep clean, repairs, and restoration. Dead, dark, and depressing. We went through 5 different rooms in the first 24 hours and ended up with a better one that we couldn't lock the door from inside, sheets were not clean, 3 electrical sockets were out of order, room light were too bright that hurt your eyes but there was not enough light in the bathroom, the nightstand tends to flip over when the drawer pulled out, No hot water in the morning happened twice in our 15 day's stay. Very strong foul oder almost in the entire hotel lasted for 3 days, sprayed chimical, ordered by the city, when we asked. Dark hallways that we purchased a flashlight. Only one receptionist could speak English that we have seen him 3 times. PROS: Great location, steps from Istiklal Street. Good breakfast buffet. Fast internet connection with no interruption. Elevators were in good condition. The maids were nice. The hotel had a front and a back entrance.

Staff was excellent! They did a great job with checking in and at checkout they communicated with our transportation service to coordinate pickup. Staff was excellent! Rooms were small but sufficient, however no shower door and no toilet paper. Air conditioner couldn’t really cool the room adequately. Over the stay was pleasant because of staff and close location to dining and shopping.

The pictures do not look like the actual place. The hotel was on a busy street. The breakfast was a plate, not buffet. Everyone was smoking around the hotel. It smelled inside. The room was tiny, dark and not very clean. The sheets have holes in them. The shower is a joke. It doesn’t have a door. I will not stay here again. And do not recommend this place to anyone. The front desk was not helpful with issues.
