Without being asked, the clerk assigned us a room for hearing impaired, first floor. We left to attend an event, returning around 10pm. At 11, we were awakened by a dog literally howling in another room. It woke us 3 more times during the night. Since we were trying to SLEEP, changing rooms was not feasible and we kept thinking the staff would do something about the dog. They did not. In the morning we mentioned it to the front desk clerk, stating it was the worst night we've ever spent in a hotel, and telling him what transpired. Not only did he NOT apologize or take responsibility, he told us that we should have called the front desk (in the middle of the night) and asked to change rooms, insinuating that we were at fault. He was extremely rude and made no effort to make it right. I wish I'd kept my $189 and slept in my car. Would've gotten more sleep and less attitude. How can I get a refund?
