Towels were dried carcasses, shower temperature was difficult to control, and the bed was not very comfortable. The toilet bowl shifted under weight. My husband and I found better guest houses all over Georgia, including Tbilisi, for much less. The whole reason I decided to book Hotel VIP is because I was under the impression that I would be charged through hotels.com, and we did not need to water more money on ATM fees on our last night in Tbilisi. For a hotel that charges 3x the price of a guest house (162 GEL/night), it's ridiculous not to accept credit card. The whole hotel needs some maintenance to justify its price point, starting with the ability to pay with card, which even the corner store 20m away accepts.
