I stayed over 8 nights with 2 adults and teens. Location is okay only, as most shops are on the south side of the beach, not many near to this hotel. My room facing the un completed site of Holidays in, and could looked errie at night
Issues of this hotel
1. Lifts are shared with service staff, long waiting time even in off peak season
2. Mattress in needs of replacement, as for our king beds and doubles beds, all are sinking to 1 side
3. Lobby is shared with another So called Luxury Apartment and was tiny
4. My master bedroom walls are shared with the so called apartments and they are owned by different management, and the Altara staff have little control over the noise created by those guests over 2 nights
5. The slippers provided are not comfortable and seemed to catered to one K country people only, not for other nationality
6. My 3 TV setting are set to Korean, and we have to get service to tune to English, isn't this a international language
Positive
1. Service staff overall are very courteous especially the breakfast floor, hardworking and ready to serve
2. Cleaning staff also diligent.
If you are of the K race, you will feel at home in this hotel. We will not be back.
