Go back to 1893
If you were riding your horse all day in 1893 and needed a bed for the night then the Richmond Arms would be perfect. Just basic rooms with squeaky beds and squeaky floors. Highlight was the shared shower rooms with excellent water pressure. Food in restaurant was great pub grub. Staff very pleasant.

Hotel rooms and bathrooms upstairs are pretty average, however pub and dining room downstairs are excellent. Overall, good value budget accommodation and you get what you pay for.
Robert, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Easy access to surrounding holiday destinations. The town had everything we needed, IGA, place to eat things to see and markets on Sunday.
Melissa, 3-night trip

Sand / dust found on the table below the big mirror in the master bedroom. It would be great if bath gel is provided.

4/10 Fair

Beautiful old original pioneer/colonial bluestone village with nice shops/cafes/parks and history. Glorious old bridge & Catholic Church which was open for prayer. The hotel is quiet and affordable, BUT .. black mould in shower & bathroom , no plug for the bath( would have been lovely for this old man), plus bedroom was stuffy.. window locked & dirty with cobwebs/ bird droppings to look at .
Ramon, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Convenient and centrally located
Located centrally in Richmond, this hotel offers excellent dining options. It's walking distance to all the main historic sites, including Richmond Bridge. There should've been a queen-sized bed in our room - it was certainly large enough for one
Leonie, 2-night trip

The rooms were very clean & excellent facilities however the Federal Rep Jane Howlett next door had the office alarm activated from 10.30pm till 8am which was very disturbing & spoilt our lovely stay here!!
