Stayed here for 4 nights, the hotel arranged to pick us up complimentary from the bus station.
We got to the hotel in minutes.
Staff show us to a room which looked nothing like the photo on the booking site, it was desperately in need of a paint and felt dirty. Mentioning this to staff they identified the photo as a cottage room and were more than happy to move us but explained that these rooms had hard beds instead of mattresses. We opted for this, it was a dark wood paneled wall which hid the dirt!
We accepted that this must be the standard of hotel in Chitwan, but to describe it on their website and booking sites as 'luxurious' is stretching the truth.
The room aside, the gardens were beautiful and there is a large non-heated pool in the grounds.
Staff were the hotel's saving grace, everyone was so lovely, friendly and helpful.
We booked a full day jeep safari and the duty mgr was also our guide. His knowledge was never ending and his eyesight and spotting skills amazed us time after time.
The restaurant has a choice of Indian, Chinese and pasta dishes, the curries were excellent. Breakfast was often busy to to coach tours.
The location of the hotel was perfect, away from the bustle of the tourist strip but close enough to walk.
The main disappointment with jungle world was the room cleaning. In the 5 days we stayed, our room was not serviced once... Despite us requesting it. We were left with dirty sheets, towels and an over flowing bin.
