A Cozy Inn with a Historical Significance
My brother and I had a great stay at the Inn while attending the 2024 Plainfield Homecoming. The room was cozy and inviting . The bathroom was stylish and up to date. It was a good idea to have a kitchen and have everything that one would need to do some cooking.
Justin, we enjoyed our talk with you Saturday morning about the history of the Inn. We’re descendants of Chester Ingersoll. We enjoyed seeing the room that you named Ingersoll. It’s a good idea that you shared about the history of the Inn and how it grew along with the growth of Plainfield.
Plainfield is a unique town that still carries its small town love for people, its proud heritage and history, as well as cultivating an atmosphere of kindness to all that stay even for a while to enjoy the beautiful scenic buildings and majestic rolling fields of corn and soybeans. The Village Green is a wonderful spot to relax and watch all the children and families enjoy its offerings.
Thank you Justin.
