Easy overnight motel stay however the wifi was terrible and the room was advertised as including continental breakfast which it did not. The water pressure was great and the local Crabby’s clam chowder was a 10/10!

Outdated motel; better during busy season??
Had we known that we would be the only family staying in this motel we probably would have booked a different place for the night. Staff who checked us in was fine, efficient. Room was plain, outdated, beds were uncomfortable. Being that we were the only people staying in the motel it confused us why we were put on 2nd floor in the very far back corner?? When we booked the motel Hotels.com stated there would be a continental breakfast, but being we were the only people there it didn’t appear they put out any food in the morning. The lights were off in the office area when we left. It is off-season for the town so it was very quiet. We ate at a couple of local places, Locals were very nice. We just needed a place to stay for the night that was along the route of our road trip, so this was fine. We felt safe.

Had what I needed.
The room was utilitarian (very plain), with laminate floors (no carpet). It had a TV, microwave, and working fridge, and a coffee maker, all nice to have, and the bed was comfortable. The toiletries were nice and plentiful.Probably the perfect room for people who are launching boats and going fishing early in the morning. I heard people talking and watching TV in the next room, maybe because there were connecting doors (locked). The breakfast had pastries, coffee, orange juice, and bananas.

Dirty hotel with bad service
The lady that checked us in was very rude. We had a service dog with us and yelled at us to keep the dog out of the office (which we were not going to bring in). The breakfast is a joke, they offer dollar tree snacks that you can buy 10 for a dollar and then tell you you can only have 1. The beds only have 1 blanket on them with no comforter, and they sheets were dirty and had burn holes in them. I would not stay here again

I really enjoyed Winchester Bay, Oregon. However, there were issues with the room. A blind slat was missing in my bathroom, which allowed anyone to see through. There was very little Wi-Fi connection. The room door had to be slammed shut because the frame was ajar. Ice was only available from the office, in a very small bag, and I had to ask for more toilet paper. As far as security, a man spent the night in his car in the parking lot and was definitely not in his right mind. Yelling, screaming, hanging all his clothes on open doors of his vehicle, and dancing around with a towel as a cape. Pretty alarming, and nothing was done about it. I hate to underrate the hotel, but it was a controllable situation that was not addressed.
