I booked a room on the 22/05/2024 for my sister and her son. They arrived at 3pm to check in, they were told the room was not ready. later, they were taken to the room but the bed sheets were not done. To make matters worst the room was not the one I saw on hotels.com. I asked the five to five receptionist why this was, she stated that was last room they had but they can issue me a refund if I wanted cancellation and I agreed with her . As per our agreement, I contacted hotels.com to cancel the booking and issue me a refund. And told me that they will do this but fist they have to contact the hotel and after giving them the name of person I made agreement with, I ended my chat with hotels.com. This morning, I had an email from hotels.com which told me that five to five refused to issue me a refund. I will make sure that either Hotels.com or five to five issue me a refund because I recorded all our chat and calls.
In addition to this, While waiting for their room to be ready, my sister told me they hotel workers ignored her and her son but while giving refreshers and waters to their white their guests. My sister and her son felt really upset and told me they would never stay in the hotel.
