Fawlty Towers
Can't fault friendliness of staff. However there was no management demonstrated at all. Greeted by bunch of boys in shorts - didn't even seem like staff. English spoken was mostly very limited. Wanting to pay for drink, I asked "how much". After 5 minutes the guy came back with a hammer! The food we had on the first night was actually quite good. But the flies are a big problem. And most things on the menu are not available. After asking for wine, Ginger beer, soda and all not available I asked what was - coke or fanta or water. Ordered water but it never came! Bed and room comfortable but hotel right next to railway track with frequent noisy trains which shook the room. Bedding fine. Bathroom enormous but not sure the latter was cleaned prior to our arrival. Tooth glass encrusted with dried toothpaste spit for example. Stay made bearable by nice staff and managers at 5 star hotel nearby who let use their facilities. An interesting experience but future Guests be aware!
