This seems to be a pattern for hotels in India - first they give you a terribly looking, very dirty, battered and worn out room, then, when you say you'll want another hotel from the booking company, they show you a significantly better one, which is still very far from ideal, but you accept it, because it's not that terrible as the first one.
Happened to me in Club Emerald, 2 days later the same happened in New Delhi.
Service was definitely not too good - it took them 2 hours to get my internet running, housekeeping guy asked me 3 times when he can clean while I was in... Breakfast is basic and mediocre, wifi is slow, too complex to access and not always working. The only good thing I saw in this hotel, was the Paprika restaurant - very good vegetarian cuisine (I'm not a vegetarian, but I liked it too).
Location is relatively good - especially for the airport. But the whole experience, for the price paid, was a definite disappointment. Everything looks far worse than the photos show.
