This hotel is very well located, walking distance to La Chascona, El Patio, Plaza de Armas and Mercado Central. It is also a couple of blocks away from Bellas Artes metro station. In other words, top location, especially for the price. On the downside, the rooms are extremely cold, you can hear everything that is happening outside your room. Don't take a long shower because you will run out of hot water. Breakfast's included, but it's very frugal (bread, ham, cheese, coffee, yogurt, pound cake and, sometimes, apples).
The staff is okay. The young woman at the front desk in the afternoon shift is really nice. The young man in the morning shift is nasty, plain and simple. It was funny how he asked for a tip when I left my suitcase for a few hours after check-out. He said "Sure, you can leave your bags with us. And if you also leave a tip, that would be great, too".
