Very disappointing experience
Not a great experience. They want to be a luxury hotel without the service of a luxury hotel.
On one hand, no one in the design team thought about potential rains (in a tropical area). So if it rains, water will fall on you while you have dinner on the restaurant. The toilet in the bedroom is outside, which might be nice if it's sunny, but not a pleasant experience if it's raining on you when you need to go to the toilet. Same with water ponds inside the bedroom, but they will tell you it's the "rainforest experience".
On the other, the quality of their service is much lower than the price they charge. Two examples: first, when they showed us the room, they made very clear that they would charge us if the towels had any dirt on them. On a beach hotel! Second, the last day was pouring, we took the one umbrella we had in the room and went to check out. Since we left our bags at the hotel to pick up later, we asked if we could take the umbrella and bring it back later. They said no, as apparently they only have one umbrella per room. Which hotel doesn't have some umbrellas at reception for the guests to use? And don't expect them to walk you to your car with an umbrella, they won't offer.
Great hotel if you are an intagrammer, want to feel like you are anywhere but in Mexico or want to be in your white bubble. Definitely not worth its price.
The best thing of the hotel was the service in the restaurant, great workers and super nice.
