Simple and acceptable
Our stay was overall good. Location isn’t the most inspiring but they make up for it with great service, in-house spa, and a very nice & large breakfast (traditional Japanese mixed with westernized elements). The rooms are simple and deceptively drab at first sight but the beds are actually pretty comfortable. The employees barely speak English but I think this is on us for coming to the suburbs of Japan without knowing Japanese! Another positive thing is that this hotel is close walking distance to restaurants, convenience stores, and a gorgeous beach spot/view of the Sea of Japan (~20 min). So you will not have the most beautiful or lavish experience but it is solid for the area and I highly recommend paying the extra $5 per two people (on Hotels.com app) per day for breakfast to be included.
