We stayed in Artika on June for about a week. From the moment we walked in, they made us feel welcome. The owner took time of his own to sit down with us for a few minutes and explain with a map, how we should move to all main touristic parts of Istanbul, and gave us his recommendations.
Staff is very nice, polite, and always receive you with a smile.
The room is just as advertised by pictures the hotel posts. Everything looks brand new, great quality, and decorated with great taste. You can tell they care about details. We loved it. Also, they leave you a plate full of fruit as a welcome gift, and tea bags with an electric teapot.
Location is amazing:
- 2 minutes walk from T1 Tram Çemberlitaş Station.
- 3 minutes walk Hagia Sophia - Bluw Mosque.
- 5 minutes walk to Grand Bazaar.
Actually, me and my girlfriend walked everywhere, everything is within a few minutes walk (Topkapi Palace, Bosphorus). If you want to go to Taksim, you can take the T1 Tram, public transportation is very good.
As I mentioned before, the owner is very helpful, when we were leaving, we had a very early flight to Rome, and as the Tram starts at 6AM, he helped us to get a private shuttle at the time we needed, at a great price.
To all the Artika's staff, teşekkür ederim!.
