Had a late night check-in which was okay, but upon entering the room, the light switches weren't working properly and I heard a noise in the bathroom. The toilet was running continually. Went back to the office and "rang the bell" FOUR times, finally the guy came out from the back and I explained the problem. The light switch by the door still wasn't working properly and he informed me there was another set of switches right by the bed. "Just use those." Okay.... He then jiggled the toilet handle and the running stopped, for about 5 seconds then started again. After about 10 minutes, he finally got it to stop. But it was obvious that he was annoyed.
The bed was like sleeping on a rock. It was set on a metal frame platform and every time you sat down or got up, the metal made a horrid buckling sound. The frame also went to the floor all the way around the bed and again, every time you walked to the edge, you couldn't help but kick it..
I also asked where the ice machine was as I like to have cold water on my bedside table. I was told they didn't have one. WHAT?!?!? Never heard of such a thing. No customer service at all, and Mr. Personality at the front desk seemed more annoyed that I interrupted his evening and morning by appearing at the front desk and ringing the bell once again upon checkout.
If you just need a place to pull off the road to sleep, it's just okay, but don't expect any kind of service by anyone personable!
