Can't complain about thr property or location in anyway... Fantastic for anyone going to surfers. But...QStay itself was terrible.
We were informed a week before arriving that the aircon was not working, we could either cancel or live with temporary units for the week we were there. When I replied saying a apology, a discount or an upgrade would have been nice. Finding somwhere else with a week to go was extremely incoventient, their initial response was "it's inconvenient for us too". Only after I complained was I offered an apology and a discount.
We arranged a late check in and had videos, photos and instructions of what to do and where to go.
We arrived by tram at 9pm, assigned lockbox 3. The lockboxes weren't numbered, luckily we were lock box 3. This meant counting from the top down or bottom up we were the same lock box... Then the pin code for the lock box had to be input about 50 times pushing softly at first and steadily harder and harder over a 20minute period before it finally fell open.
We now had our electronic access and apartment instructions.
We followed their instructions and video and arrived at the door in the video very easily, only to find our key fob not working.
After another 30minutes of trying to get in did we find out there are two towers and we'd been directed to the wrong one.
We then found our way to the correct tower and our room.
Great accommodation that we would probably use again, let down by poor service and organisation.
