As Americans traveling in the UK for the first time, staying here was one of the highlights of our trip. Catherine greeted us like old friends, phoned ahead to secure us a dinner reservation at the excellent local pub after hours, and prepared us a spectacular breakfast. I can’t imagine a friendlier or more comfortable place to stay.

What an amazing stay! Me & my mum were attending a wedding party at Hazlewood Castle and stayed here as not far away. Catherine was the most accommodating host and runs her b&b with great care & passion. We loved it!

A lovely B&B, we received a warm welcomed by Catherine on arrival. The room was stunning with a huge walk-in shower. Breakfast was amazing, selection of cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruits, orange juice. The cooked breakfast was beautifully presented, hot and tasty. We would definitely stay again was

We had a fantastic one-night stay at Colton Haggs and couldn't fault the standard, cleanliness and comfort of the accommodation. The location is great too - very quiet and peaceful, yet only a short drive away from the York Park & Ride and the Outlet Village. Catherine is a wonderful host and her cooked breakfast was delicious! Would love to stay again if back in the area.

Our stay was perfect for visiting York. Just a short drive to the nearest Park and Ride. The B&B was excellent with a beautiful room, super comfy bed and bed linen and in such a peaceful rural location. We had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Catherine, our host was really lovely and welcoming and cooked us a fabulous breakfast. We would highly recommend this to our friends and will definitely be back!
