I am so grateful to have come across this beautiful place. After a very intense time in the jungle, I came back to the mountains of Sacred Valley looking to completely retreat with myself, be with the land, breathe deep and "do" nothing. I was looking for a space with a yoga studio, a view of the mountains, some outside hangout areas and healthy cuisine. Willka T'ika gave me exactly what I was looking for and what my soul needed - so much that I extended my stay.....twice! I spent each day in a different garden meditating, reading, writing, listening to the birds sing and the trees rustle, surrounded by hummingbirds, crystals, and a rainbow of flowers. There is wifi in one of the gardens, but I opted to disconnect entirely and stay off my devices so I could reconnect to myself and be fully in the present moment/space, and I'm so happy I did. It's so easy these days to distract ourselves and fall back on staring at a screen - in turn we miss out on what's right in front of us. I feel I wouldn't have been able to truly appreciate the sanctity of this place: the flowers, birds, herbs, on-site vegetables and the magic of Sacred Valley as a whole if I had external distractions and notifications coming at me throughout the day. Breakfast and dinner were healthy and filling, and the staff (who always are happy with a giant smile!) were extremely accommodating to the extra step of cooking vegan for me. I've already made plans to return in May! Three words sum it up: Heaven on Earth.
