This is a 3.5 star hotel for me. My mother and I stayed for 26 nights. Room was nice, a bit small so we put the two beds together. Pros are the friendly, smiling staff, 24/7 services and communications for taxi rides, walkable streets on adjacent sides filled with food carts, shopping marts, fruit trays, and smoothie/coffee shops, restaurants, and the beach! The beach is very swimmable and crowded at dusk and dawn. Cons include the molded rugs on the hotel floors which probably are a result of being a beach hotel. There was mention of a gym on their website but there was no gym in the property. The restaurant appeared new and staffed but we did not try it due to the ample locations outside the hotel. Additionally, the refrigerators in the room do not function so fruits, waters, other drinks, and takeaway items had to be thrown out, eaten quicker or at room temperature (water), which I dislike. Their pool was also unkept. I swam once and was not keen on going back in the water. It was fresh, not chlorinated.
