Very quaint town with lots of shops and restaurants. Relaxing, island time atmosphere. Great for kayaking, exploring nature, biking and whale watching or just strolling and people watching. A wonderful place for a long weekend away from the mainland

Great town to visit -- perfect size, lots of things to do throughout San Juan Island. The Jolly Trolly hop-on-hop-off tour bus was great for me as I had arrived by the water with no car, nice mix of areas that are historical and hikeable!

Friday Harbor is super cute and small enough to walk the entire town from any parking spot. Great place to visit but you can definitely tell that there is an "off season". Many establishments were closed during our visit or had very reduced hours.

We went during a quiet time of the year, I guess starting around late May or June things get crazy! Plan ahead if these are your visiting months, even the ferry to Friday harbor!

It was weirdly loud...it felt like we could hear front door, shower doors and screen doors closing loudly all the time. Don't let that deter you though! It is such a nice spot and the views of the ferries coming in and out all day and night are A++

"Nice ppl, the room is small but they tell you the size when you book! We had a great night in town, walked home & had a great night in our room also. Easy peasy. There is a lot to explore on SJI so you should only be in the room to shower sleep and make love lol it’s fine for all of those things.) "
