Matlock bath is stunning. There are food and entertainment options in all close proximity and it's a beautiful place that heals your soul. Highly recommend for a one night two day stay or, longer stay if visiting the wider area.

The Heights of Abraham are a great place to visit as an adult or a child. Much better when the weather is good I expect though. The stepping stones at Dovedale are also great and free (car park extra though).

The propery is situated in Wirksworth, not far from Matlock,Matlock Bath and Cromford - the latter has a great bookshop with small cafe. Wirksworth is prettier than the other places and is less touristy. It has an amazing ancient church.

Unfortunately there was quite a lot of traffic during the stay due to temporary lights on the main road and car parks were very busy, but worth a visit.
"Great greeting on arrival. Room was clean and comfortable. Great power shower. Super nights sleep. Excellent hearty breakfast.good location central to all shops amusement arcades and public houses. Definitely would stay again "
"Take yourself back in time to an era we all want to recreate away from this troubling world. I was hoping for a spitfire to zoom overhead at anytime. A beautiful location within the Chatsworth estate in old style properties with plenty of character. Just a few steps away is a lovely local pub The Beeley Inn serving delicious food (the ox cheek is to die for,) agreeably it’s not cheap but you get what you pay for. Ideal for a special treat."
"Exactly what I wanted, what I have expected hearing from my family who have stayed there previously so it was great to have a relaxing time with great service and food "
