"We loved this hotel, spotless, comfortable bed, long desk, a spacious de luxe room with sofa. It has a separate shower room and bath tub with motorized curtain, and a day and night motorized window curtain. All staffs are welcoming in the lobby and reception especially Izu who patiently answered all our inquiries and recommended places to go. The coffee shop at the Ground floor serves delicious and affordable foods. The hotel is connected to a mall and has access in the GF. Accessible by taxi or Grab to tourist spots. Transportation is inexpensive. Highly recommended and will use other Pan Pacific hotels when we book in other countries.

"It's easy to stay at a generic box type hotel.
The Strand has pedigree (See Raffles and E&O). It's a beautiful building with high ceilings. Beautifully decorated and clean. Very pleasant staff. Quiet and tranquil.
Stay here for your first visit to Yangon, and you can always stay at a generic, branded hotel on a subsequent visit."
