St John’s Public Market is a great place to buy fresh fruit and vegetables, herbs and spices, baked goods, seafood, and meat at low prices. The best time to visit is in the early mornings and on Saturdays. Stalls occupy a covered building, though some spill out towards the surrounding streets.
