The Balcony of Europe in Nerja has a view that lives up to its name. The viewpoint sits between Playa el Salón and Playa Calahonda, with unbelievable views of the Mediterranean to the south.
The Balcón de Europa name was coined by King Alfonso XII, whose statue stands proudly at the top of the cliff. We'd recommend getting there around sunset to get the best of daytime and nighttime views. Balcón de Europa Hotel is available if you want to spend a night up there, but if you're planning dinner there are loads of restaurants.
